Summary of the role

We’re looking for a hands-on experienced PPC Manager to focus on creating, developing and implementing successful paid advertising strategies, to produce results driven campaigns for a portfolio of products, to join us as we take on the US market.

You’ll be responsible for setting up and running PPC campaigns on a variety of search engines and platforms, including, but not limited to Google, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn and optimization of PPC campaigns across B2B and B2C based on metrics.

Team background

As a PPC Manager, you will work alongside Digital Performance, B2C Recruitment Team, Community, B2B, Enterprise Team, Sales and Design within an integrated department and report into the Digital Performance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and agreeing the right objectives, goals and KPIs to tie business objectives into PPC objectives.
  • Setting up and running PPC campaigns on a variety of search engines and platforms, including, but not limited to Google, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.
  • Independently managing and leading high value B2C and B2B campaigns whilst demonstrating proactive account management to drive campaign objectives.
  • The implementation and delivery of paid advertising campaigns according to the agreed strategy, including activity planning and scheduling.
  • Continuously drive campaign performance improvements through creative and landing page optimization
  • Reporting on paid advertising activity for our portfolio of products and proactively working towards achieving goals and targets within PPC campaigns.
  • Continuously increasing knowledge of all digital channels, particularly PPC, in order to integrate innovations and developments into campaigns to ensure they are future proof.
  • Sharing knowledge with internal teams in a collaborative and lively environment.
  • Identifying new business and upsell opportunities and working collaboratively with the wider cross-functional teams and helping communicate PPC concepts and recommendations to the business.
  • Ensuring internal systems and processes are adhered to and kept up to date.

Key requirements

Specific skills required for this role include but are not limited to:

Essential:

  • At least 5 years’ experience leading and developing PPC campaigns, preferably in an agency or in-house environment.
  • GAP (Google Advertising Professionals) qualified.
  • Substantial experience in managing PPC campaigns, across a variety of search engines and managing the allocated budget.
  • Strong ad copy writing skills and able to continuously drive creative ideas in directing the design team.
  • Substantial experience in campaign conversation optimization including landing page optimization and A/B testing.
  • Substantial experience in using paid search management and tracking tools.
  • Solid understanding of paid search best practice and working knowledge and/or strong interest in other media channels especially SEO and Social Media.
  • Ability to work flexibly, on own initiative and as part of the team.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to process and interpret large amounts of complex data.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.

Desirable:

  • Experience working for big brands on complicated PPC campaigns, especially for a marketplace product.
  • Experience working on recruitment sector based marketing projects, specifically within Hospitality, Industrial, Facilities Management or Retail.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge.
