Lead Android Developer

Syft is at an exciting stage of our journey and we’re looking for a confident, self-motivated Android developer to join our highly talented & ambitious team!

Responsibilities

  • Take designs and wireframes and turn them into highly performant code
  • Assist in identifying and fixing bugs
  • Help maintain code and ensure high quality standards are met

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Android UI
  • Experience with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
  • Able to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Experience with push notifications
  • Knowledge of Git
