The Role

With Syft launching healthcare in the tail end of 2020, you will be able to bring your wealth of knowledge and experience to nurture and grow our care team to meet the demands of our growing number of care clients, whilst also providing expertise to the overall care vertical, supporting the sales and account management teams in delivering 100% compliance throughout.

As a Care onboarding manager you are responsible for interviewing, assessing and verifying applicants for our Care team. Experienced in recruiting and training care workers, you will bring your working knowledge of the law and regulations and work together with the rest of the recruitment team you’ll define a fully compliant recruitment flow and give our candidates the best experience possible. 


Responsibilities & Duties

  • Produce up to date quality checks on candidates, via the registration process and referencing.
  • Report and respond to compliance queries to ensure that the work completed is legal and compliant with the CQC
  • Complete Assessment observations (either remotely or in person) in line with the CQC standards and sign off workers competency. This will include travelling across the UK.
  • Ensure our Management Team is kept informed at all times and that issues are identified as quickly as possible.
  • Ensuring legislative requirements are adhered to at all times and reporting any breaches to the Management Team.
  • Complete the worker journey from induction, training, and supervision of care roles.
  • Facilitate team meetings to update and standardise onboarding interviews
  • To monitor compliance to ensure that all Service User and employee files are maintained and updated as required and ensure actions are carried through.
  • Hands on, complete control over healthcare recruitment delivery

Essential Requirements

  • A proven track record in recruiting care staff (in house or agency)
  • Experience training care staff using the care certificate programme
  • Experience in working with CQC & knowledge of the law and regulations
  • Have an understanding of the recruitment industry, particularly temporary worker markets
  • Working with high volume workloads
  • Excellent communication skills the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels
  • Can work in a fast paced environment and on a variety of tasks
  • Comfortable with travelling to sites across the UK to complete observations and training
  • Operational capability of using software: G-suite, MS Office, Zoom, recruitment and training platforms. 


  • NVQ 3 (or higher) in health & social care is desired but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of Welsh and Scottish equivalent standards of practice is desired but not mandatory.
  • Project management experience is desirable but not essential.
