We want to enable Job Seekers to control their schedule, choose their work and enable them to work as many or as few shifts as they want. The Role

Reporting to the team lead, the role of the SDR is to generate new business + build long standing customer relationships for Syft.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a key part in expanding the reach of our mission to help people get jobs amongst our enterprise clients. The role will see you generating leads and creating opportunities and meetings for our Enterprise BDM to close the deal. 

You will utilize your skill set to build valuable relationships, becoming a high-level representative for the business. In addition, you will play a key role in the roll out of national enterprise clients post sale by engaging with site level contacts to implement our solution.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Researching leads and mapping accounts to build a strong pipeline across all verticals
  • Partnering with our marketing team on account strategy and account based marketing
  • Interfacing with Enterprise BDMs on their sales strategy for their target accounts
  • Call new prospects to establish senior stakeholders, maximise discovery and introduce our proposed solutions 
  • Utilise our Salesforce CRM systems to track, record and report on your progress.
  • Develop new business opportunities through a mix of professional networking methods

Experience and Skills Required

  • 2+ Years of business development or direct sales experience, specifically targeting enterprise-level business and contacts at c-level or above.
  • Strong ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.
  • Have experience in mapping accounts to ensure a correct account strategy
  • Strong understanding of how to sell intangible products
  • Have experience using CRM systems preferably Salesforce and an analytical mindset 
  •  Previous experience of managing multiple sales processes through to completion.
  • Strong ability to partner with teams across multiple functions of the business including marketing, enterprise sales, implementation and account management.
  • Have a natural ability to persistently motivate yourself and others by being a great team player
  • New business hunter mentality and desire to succeed and overachieve in a company where you can quickly move up the career ladder
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and time management.
